The Isle of Man is situated in the middle of the Irish Sea, bounded by the sea coasts of England, Scotland, Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland. The Island is roughly 230 square miles in area and has a population of approximately 80,000. It is easily accessible from London by air and from many other airports in the United Kingdom and by sea from Liverpool and Heysham.

Although it is not part of the EU, the Isle of Man has a special and limited relationship allowing free trade with the EU.
