Terms & Conditions

1. This Free Prize Draw is only open to UK residents aged 18 years and over.

2. The prizes are an Alton Towers Scarefest break for two in 2023.

3. The winners will be selected using a random generator within 24 hours of the competition end date. The winner will be  contacted privately before being announced publicly.

4. To enter the competition on Facebook you must like the post and comment you would take with you. To enter on Instagram you must follow @caledoniantrav, like the post and comment who you would take with you.

5. Entries received after the final closing date will not be entered into any prize draw

6. The final closing date for entry to the competition is noon Friday 6th October 2023.

7. The competition is not open to employees or agencies of Caledonian Travel, their family members or anyone else connected to the company.

8. By entering the competition, participants agree to the terms and conditions of the competition, the terms of our privacy policy and being contacted by Caledonian Travel for marketing purposes including promotional emails.

9. Caledonian Travel accepts no responsibility and disclaims any liability for any damage, loss, liabilities, injury or disappointment incurred or suffered by you as a result of entering the Competition or accepting the prize.

10. The randomly selected winner must depart from one of our pickup points and we will not cover the cost of any additional overnight stays.

11. Caledonian Travel reserves the right at any time to modify or discontinue, temporarily or permanently delete this competition with or without prior notice.

12. Caledonian Travel reserves the right to disqualify any entries at any time without prior notice.

13. No responsibility is taken for entries that are delayed, misdirected or incomplete or cannot be delivered or entered for any technical or other reason.

14. The name and town or county of the winners may be published for congratulatory and promotional reasons.

15. The prize is non-exchangeable, non-transferable, and is not redeemable for cash or other prizes.

16. The winners will be sent a private message before being publicly announced on the Caledonian Travel Facebook page.

17. Any prize not claimed within five days of being contacted will be forfeited and no further claims thereafter will be entertained. We will draw another winner if the prize is not claimed by the original winner.

18. Caledonian Travel's decision is final.

19. Caledonian Travel' reserves the right to substitute the prize for a prize of equivalent or greater monetary value if this is necessary for reasons beyond its control.

20. The prize draw and these terms and conditions will be governed by English law and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
