This popular train ride departs from Bolton Abbey Station with Embsay & Bolton Abbey Steam in the Yorkshire Dales and is based on the much-loved children’s book and film by Chris Van Allsburg.
On arrival, you'll be welcomed by the conductor and given your golden tickets, just like in the film.
Once on board the festive train, you'll start to hear some familiar songs from the film, and this is where the fun begins. The story of the Polar Express is brought to life, as you meet the characters that you know and love - including the conductor, the singing chefs, the hobo and of course, Father Christmas himself!
Enjoy a hot chocolate and cookie during your festive journey and await the exciting appearance of Santa Claus. Santa will greet you all and present you with the First Gift of Christmas - a beautiful silver sleigh bell.
