Automated Balance Payments – How it Works.

  • Book your holiday and pay your low deposit.
  • We'll send you a friendly reminder three days before we're due to take your remaining balance.
  • Your balance payment will be automatically taken, and we'll send you an email to confirm you're all paid up, and you can relax - knowing your holiday is waiting for you!

3) Your balance payment will be automatically taken, and you'll receive a confirmation email.

Your Payment Is Processed Securely Using Stored Token

No full card details are visible or stored internally.

  • We don't keep your card details. Your card number is swapped for a secure reference number (a token) when you first book.
  • That reference number is stored securely by the payment provider
  • Further payment is made by that secure reference (token), letting us take your payment safely without seeing your card number again.

For your total peace of mind and protection your money goes straight into an independently audited Trust Fund that is not released to Caledonian Travel until you have returned from your break. This means that if the break cannot go ahead and you are not interested in any alternatives, we can offer you, we guarantee you will get a full refund within 7 days!

Frequently Asked Questions

  • Is the balance taken from the same card I have already used?

Yes, your balance will be taken from the card used when making the original holiday booking. 

  •  Can I still pay before the balance is due?

You can make any payment you wish prior to the balance due date using your “My Account” If you have already paid in full before the balance due date, no further payment will be taken.

  • What happens if the card is declined?

If your card is declined, one of our friendly call centre team will contact you to make payment another way.

  • What happens if the card has expired?

If you make any payment on your “My Account” using your new card, it will automatically be updated. Alternatively, you can contact us prior to your balance due date we can certainly take your payment over the telephone. 

  • Can I opt-out at a later stage? 

For any bookings you opt-in to automated balance payments, you can opt-out at any time. Click View & Add Insurance next to the booking you wish to update and click: Cancel this payment (if you change your mind again you can click: Enable Automatic Payment).
