Brighouse 1940's Vintage Weekend & Lunch on a Steam Train

Highlights

For one weekend every year the small Yorkshire town of Brighouse turns back the clock to commemorate the make do and mend spirit of the 1940s. The streets are adorned by revellers dressed in genuine 1940’s civilian and military gear, from the Home Guard to the French Resistance. Enjoy a parade of the armed forces, see wartime Prime Minister Winston Churchill, learn the Lindy Hop or even sit in a Messerschmit! Enjoy one of the many re-enactments and see many vintage and military vehicles on display in this truly nostalgic setting., as well as lunch as you travel through the Dales on the Embsay & Bolton Abbey steam railway 

What's Included?

• Coach travel with reserved seating
• One night dinner, bed and breakfast at our select hotel
• Visit to Brighouse for the splendid 1940’s celebrations
• Return travel with lunch, aboard the Embsay & Bolton Abbey Steam Railway -  1 hour round trip

After choosing what you'd like on the menu, Lunch will be served to you.
