Caledonian Travel is proudly celebrating four fantastic years since its relaunch on 1st April 2021, marking an exciting milestone in the company’s journey as one of the UK’s leading coach holiday providers.

Since 2021, Caledonian Travel has grown into a multi-award-winning operator, offering memorable breaks across the UK, Ireland and Europe. With a dedicated network of departure points across Scotland, the North East and Yorkshire, over 1.3 million customers have enjoyed holidays filled with amazing experiences, exceptional service, and great value.

Managing Director Graham Rogers reflected on the journey so far: “We launched Caledonian Travel at a time where the holiday industry was starting up again, and it took a lot of hard work to get to where we are today. But it’s been worth it.”

From day one, Caledonian Travel has focused on bringing back the joy of coach holidays, ensuring every customer enjoys comfort, quality and personal service every step of the way.

Growing the Caledonian Experience

In just four years, the company has gone from strength to strength. As Commercial Director Martin Lock explained: “We’ve grown rapidly. As well as providing a huge range of breaks to a variety of destinations, we’ve expanded our Caledonian Hotel Collection, with four of our own hotels in Torquay, Scarborough, Blackpool and Arrochar on the banks of Loch Long.”

Caledonian Travel is now the largest operator of breaks by coach in the UK, but continues to maintain its personal, friendly touch. A growing network of seven Travel Centres in Glasgow, Middlesbrough, Newcastle, Gateshead, Leeds, Hull and Wakefield means customers can pop in, chat to the team, and book their next adventure face to face.

With over 85 liveried coaches—affectionately known as the Pride of Lions - Caledonian Travel keeps its community connected and engaged. Its active social media presence has grown to over 250,000 followers, while an independent Facebook Fan Group has nearly 40,000 members. On TrustPilot, the company holds an ‘Excellent’ rating based on more than 25,000 reviews.
