Can We Carry Your Bags?

We know you love it when we take care of the details! We’re always looking to do bigger and better things that help you enjoy your stay at one of Caledonian Travel's own hotels.

You’ll know that our hotel teams always want to go out of their way for you, and will always try to help when you need a hand with things, like taking your bags up to your room. But now it’s official! From 2027, if you need it, you can take advantage of our Porterage On Demand service every time you book a break at one of our Caledonian Collection hotels!

This means you don’t have to worry about asking for a hand with your bags, because it’s a service. And best of all... it’s free!

Then, when it’s time to leave, you can arrange for your bags to be collected and brought to reception when you check out.

Porterage On Demand service at Caledonian Collection hotels

What do I do if I need Porterage On Demand?

That’s the easy bit. If you need help with your bags, when you arrive at reception to check in, just let our team know which bag is yours. They’ll label it, and it’ll be in your room within the hour.

And, when it’s time to go, just tell reception before 8pm the night before that you’d like your bags brought to reception the next day, and pop your bag outside your room by 7am. (Make sure it’s neatly placed against the wall, so others can get by!). We’ll collect it and place it in reception, ready for your journey home.

The service is simple and it’s free. But please only use it if you need it. You won’t be expected to leave a tip, and the only thing we ask is that your cases don’t exceed 20kg. This just makes sure our teams can safely manoeuvre them around the hotel.

It’s just one more way we’re making sure you can relax and enjoy your holiday from the moment you arrive!

So, if you’ve booked a 2027 break at any of the Caledonian Collection of Hotels in Torquay, Arrochar, Blackpool, Scarborough, Isle of Wight or Callander, you can be sure that our teams will always be on hand for you.
