WE DID IT! BTA Winners 2024!

We’ve done it! Once again, Caledonian Travel has had a successful night at this year’s British Travel Awards, the Oscars of the Travel Industry!

Earlier this year, our loyal customers took time to vote for us as the Best Travel Company for Coach Holidays and Best Company for UK Coach/Touring Holidays awards, and thanks to them – we won both awards, further enhancing our position as the UK’s largest and leading operator of breaks by coach.

A fantastic year

This year’s awards ceremony was held at Battersea Evolution, in London and members of the Caledonian Travel team were there as the envelopes were opened, and our name revealed.

“It’s been a fantastic year for Caledonian Travel” said Managing Director Graham Rogers. “We’ve celebrated a record financial year, expanded The Caledonian Hotel Collection, and to round off 2024 we’ve picked up these awards! I want to say thank you to our customers who have taken the time to vote for us, and that’s quite humbling. These awards are just so important to our business and all of our teams, as they are voted for by customers. They are testament to us putting our customers at the heart of all our decisions.”

In another victory, our self-drive holiday sister company UKBreakaways took home the Best Company for UK Short Breaks accolade.

Award winning coach holidays

Winners of the British Travel Awards are chosen by members of the British public who vote for their favourite travel companies and holiday providers that have given them the best experiences over the past year. It’s also the largest survey of consumer opinion on everything to do with leisure travel.

Caledonian Travel’s Commercial Director Martin Lock said: “I’m absolutely delighted that Caledonian Travel have picked up these awards. I’d like to thank our team who work hard across the whole of the business and make sure that we offer award-winning coach holidays to those people who book with us year after year. And I too want to thank our loyal customer base. We personally interact with over 250,000 people across our social channels, and it’s always great to hear their feedback about their holiday experiences with us. It’s only through such honest and personal reviews that we can keep looking to learn and develop. Voting for us to win these awards re-enforces their feelings towards us, and we really appreciate that.”
